"Tactless, no?<\i>" Sara answered in fluent, yet with a slightly posh English accented flair. It was "proper", her mother said, for a pure blooded young woman to know more than one language. The same couldn't be said for pure blood boys however. Her smirk widened as she caught Gabrielle's eye roll. Yes, this new houseguest was definitely going to be fun.
Sara let out a soft chuckle at Gabrielle's comment. She shot a look over to the boys, taking secret pleasure from the looks of jealousy that she received for being the one talking to Gabrielle. If they only knew. She turned back to Gabrielle. "Are you sure you're meant for Slytherin?" Most of the girls in her house cared only<\i> for popularity. If there was more to Gabrielle, that woul be a refreshing change.
"Well, on behalf of the Slytherin House, welcome." She grinned. "I apologize that most of my fellow housemates are too busy staring to make proper introductions." She quirked an eyebrow at the French girl's claim of a bite. She'd love to see that. "Oh do you? You strike me as more of a...dove, or some other pretty bird, than something with a bite."
Sara followed Gabrielle's gaze with feigned mild interest. "You'll probably have a room on you own year's hall." The Slytherin dorms quickly turned to a maze like dungeon. Something very serpent-esque. "I stay on the seventh girl's hall." She leaned in slightly and dropped her voice. "My roommate stats out a lot."
"I can show you them, if you like? The halls can get a bit confusing." She offered. "Wouldn't want you to get lost."
