"Yes," Horace replied with a hint of sadness, still completely oblivious to the shenanigans going on in the other room. "The green and silver are a blessing and a curse at all times but never more so than now." His words were melodramatic but also had the great weight of the truth.
"I have had great difficulty selecting one myself. I had hoped for Harry but..." He sighed as he trailed off. "We know how that worked out. Miss Granger would have been excellent as well but with the new laws..."
"There is a girl in my house, Tracey Davis, do you know her?" He paused for her to answer. "She is quite the potions prodigy even if she has a bit of a rebellious streak when it comes to brewing." Horace regarded Fleur. "Sadly, she is not fitting in too well as of late, I am not sure why, but maybe this is something that would help?" he asked his fellow teacher for advice just as Lavender cried out loudly in the other room as she soaked her knickers with her first orgasm.
"Spencer Fawcett would have been an excellent choice. It is too bad that woman got to her first," he mused as he sipped his tea.
"I am concerned for Miss Weasley. She would be the perfect choice for an assistant in DADA but I wouldn't wish that on anyone."
