Hermione wasn't sure if she quite agreed with Ginny's evaluation of the whole name thing. Maybe if it were an actual nickname and not a gross misrepresentation of Ron's given name then she wouldn't find it so annoying. It might also have been the fact that try as he might Viktor had not been able to properly pronounce her own name.
Not wanting to talk about Ron specifically anymore, she was actually quite glad that the conversation was starting to shift. Though she couldn't help but stumble over the memory of her dorm mates, "Um, yeah, it was a bit distracting especially when Lavender started to moan." It had been at that point that Hermione had grabbed her pillow and a blanket and headed down to the common room for the night.
"What do you mean you couldn't have helped yourself?" Hermione inquired as she was forced to move to accommodate Ginny's own re-shifting. Though she didn't have to wonder long as Ginny answered that she would be the best Weasley choice for Hermione should Ron fail.
Hermione gave a nervous chuckle as she pulled her other leg up and leaned forward to hug it her own knee. "Well, since I already practically move in each summer I suppose it would be the obvious choice." As the words came out Hermione had to wonder how much the two were joking and how much veiled truth they were throwing about.
