“Ah, I see,” Ginny said with a light laugh. This man was certainly a charmer. She would really need to make sure not to drink too much. There was no way she’d have any idea what he was up to if she was three sheets to the wind!
“I am sure they won’t all go to waste,” Ginny mused. Picking one up, she took a little sip of it before setting it down once more.
He wanted her. The way he was looking at her made it pretty clear. It made her tummy to little flips and her knees felt a little shaky; thankfully she was sitting down! His eyes were…intense and Ginny looked away before she lost herself in them.
She picked up on the idea he’d had about sharing the drink. Oh well, it was good to not give in to him on everything. There would be another chance, she was sure. Coy usually worked wonders…
Ginny paused and smirked before answering. “Not used to disappointment?” she mused.
“Well, you will get no practice tonight, I came alone,” Ginny told him. “And no one is waiting for me either,” she added, hinting she had no boyfriend to worry about; that was the way Harry wanted it, after all.
"Do you dance?" she wondered aloud as she took another tiny sip of her drink.
