Tracey really hoped it would getter better. She had been miserable at school before but never anything like what she was currently experiencing. If it wasn’t for Heidi, Tracey really had no idea how she could handle it.
“I guess,” Tracey conceded. She was trying not to mope but it was hard. Feeling Heidi’s hand stroking her back, Tracey began to feel a little better. She unburied her face from the pillow and rested her cheek on it so she could look at Heidi.
“As awful as it is, I think your parents treated me better than a lot of people around here lately,” Tracey said with a bitter laugh.
“This is bullocks,” she sighed. “I was just starting to like Ginny too. Now…this.” Tracey felt awful about the whole thing. “Do you think…you can talk to her and we can get past this?” It would be awful if one of Heidi’s best friends hated her and kept hexing her!
