If Rogue hadn't already been ready for Jean to react, she would have bumped against the wall. But, luckily for her, she was. Hands were a safety, she realized, holding them up slightly to fend off any possible attack. Not that she expected anything, but Rogue was already feeling a little defensive. What didn't the red head get?
Rogue did just fine in her classes, as it might surprise others. She could get a B average slacking off, it never bothered her. Simply shrugging, she noted the look that Jean had acquired. "Stay outta my head," she refrained from calling her Red for the moment, this time actually back up enough to bump the wall lightly. The only thing Jean would get from her thoughts at the moment was concern, worry, exasperation and even a little confusion as she tried to find ways out of the project with the red head in front of her.
"You won't like what's in there, Red. So just stay out, got it?" With a frustrated sigh, she ran a hand through her own hair, the white stripe in her hair blending with the brown before falling back to solid again. "Where do you want to go?"
Jean was absolutely nuts to even want to attempt this.
