Bellatrix felt her stomach turn as she watched Alice caress the boy's head. He no longer had a father, she knew, and it made her feel worse than she normally would have. Nodding, she exited the room, making sure to shut the door behind her. She couldn't leave Alice now, not until Rodolphus was dead. The lobby clerk quickly put in her order, saying that the food would be ready in a few minutes, but handing her a bottle anyway.
The warm liquid sloshed about in its confinement as she walked back up to the room, thoughts still running amuck in her head. Opening the door, she handed Ali e the bottle wordlessly, grabbed a nearby chair and pulled it into the corner of the room where she would have a vantage point, and could see both the door and out the window quite easily. Alice could have the bed and everything else.
"They said they would bring your dinner up shortly, they are cooking it."
