Luna was turning fourteen today. She wasn't exactly sure when it would happen during the day, but when it did, then she would know. Her father was the most excited, as he was every year. The table with 8 legs...four on the bottom and four on the top...was set with as many places as it could hold. Her father had invited everyone from Hogwarts again this year.

No one ever came except Ginny, of course. Ginny was her only friend, the only one she needed. Smiling, she agreed with her father when he told her that this year there would be enough children to eat the life size unicorn cake he had baked. It sat on the table in all it's pink glory, tethered by licorice to the four table legs on the top of the table.

Dressed in a simple peach summer dress and mismatched socks, she had lime green loafers on her feet. Her radish earrings were looped from her ears, and a conical hat that read 'birthday girl' on it rested atop her head. They were only waiting for Ginny to arrive, as they always did. After her seventh birthday, Ginny's brothers weren't allowed to come anymore. They still hadn't gotten what was left of her seventh birthday cake...which had been a purple octopus...off the ceiling. This year she was really hoping for something red and freckled...

Ginny grinned at Luna, she was sure her friend had been very pretty on Thursday.

Ginny smiled at Mr. Lovegood and slid off Luna’s lap, kissing her sweetly on the cheek before she took her own seat.

“Sure,” Ginny said, fishing the wand out from behind Luna’s ear and giving it to her with bravado.

Luna was sorry to see Ginny go. Her lap was getting cold now, what could she do to keep it warm. Settling the chair down now that her friend was gone, she received her wand with a smile.

"Thank you. I was afraid it had fallen into the batter of the cake earlier."

Mister Lovegood took a seat as well, and began to sing Happy Birthday to Luna in a variety of languages. He did it this way because he wanted all the faeries that lived in the magical kingdom under their house to know that it was Luna's birthday. He just hadn't discovered what language they spoke yet, as they had yet to answer his attempts at communicating with them. Luna joined in the song too, though she only sang in English. Instead of saying her name, she always said Ginny's name in verse. She thought it would be bad luck to sing her own birthday song.

"Now blow out the candles, child!" Mister Lovegood exclaimed.

Raising her wand, Luna casted a spell to summon a gust of wind. It flew about the room, extinguishing the flames of the candle before launching itself under the table. It flew right up Ginny's skirt where it stopped, causing the skirt to billow and expand.

Ginny didn’t giggle at Luna, there was no telling where the girl’s wand might end up, she had lost it so many times Ginny was surprised that she had managed to not have to buy a replacement yet.

Ginny sang along but in English with Luna, smiling at her friend as Luna sang Ginny’s name instead of her own. That was just classic Luna. Ginny reached out and grasped her friend’s hand as she finished the song.

Watching the candles go out from Luna’s spell, she leaned over to kiss Luna on the cheek and squealed against the other girl’s cheek when the gush of magical wind blew up her dress.

The candles extinguished, Luna sat up straighter in her chair. Wand still extended, she felt the kiss against her cheek. Her cheeks colored as she thought naughty thoughts immediately, her concentration wavering. Losing control of her spell, the gust of wing billowing about underneath Ginny's skirt began to tease her friend's undergarment down. Enough to know that it was loose and for the wind to blow right up the redhead's pussy, soon engulfed inside where it blew about, caressing every part of the dark passage and beyond.

"Presents?" Luna asked, but her father shook his head. "Cake first, my dear."

Mr. Lovegood began cutting them each a slice of cake. Ignorant to the misdeeds of her errant spell, Luna watched in rapture, anxious for cake and her presents. She was curious if the unicorn cake would come alive and protest it's surgery as well. Turning to Ginny, she smiled, grateful that her best friend was always there for her.

"Would you like the horn, Ginny? It might be good luck."

Ginny knew that her kiss had distracted Luna as she felt the spell of the wind rush her dress and underneath, teasing at her knickers and blowing gently against her sensitive folds. Ginny's brown eyes grew wide and she shifted slightly.

Giggling at Luna she watched Mr. Lovegood cutting the insanely huge and mystical cake. Ginny twisted slightly as Luna's spell finally died away, leaving her with all sorts of naughty thoughts as to how they might play with that spell more later in the privacy of Luna's room.

"Sure!" she chirped, always in the mood for more good luck.

Not knowing of Ginny's plans, Luna was still a little flustered herself. Ginny was very good at getting through to the girl who seemed a million miles away constantly. Her father lopped off the unicorn's horn then placed it on a plate for Ginny. Putting the plate before his guest, he then listened to his daughter's request for two hooves.

Soon Luna had her cake and was eating happily. When her father went into the kitchen to put the rest of the cake away, she swiped some frosting up onto her finger and smeared it on Ginny's ear. It was hardly mean though, for Luna promptly licked it off.

"Unicorns taste better with a bit of Weasley," she told her friend brightly.

Giggling as her father returned, he sat down and began to write a article for the Quibbler as he waited for the two little girls to finish their cake. Luna was in no hurry, however, enjoying the yummy cake and being near her only friend.

"How long can you stay, Ginny?" she asked.

Ginny giggled as the horn was plopped down on a plate and handing to her. She watched Mr. Lovegood serve Luna and they began to eat their various unicorn parts, it was very good.

Ginny giggled as Luna swiped the cake on her ear. She shivered despite the warm temperature outside from the feeling it gave her when Luna's tongue sought her sensative lobe.

Laughing at Luna's declaration about cake flavored with Weasley, she smeared a little on Luna's cheek. Licking it off quickly before Luna's father returned, she grinned at her friend and sat back down. "I think it just tastes better with best friend mixed in."

"I was going to stay the night, if that is okay?" she had her nightgown and her toothbrush. She figured Luna's birthday should last as long as possible for her, and she wanted some alone time with her friend now that she had teased her with drafts and icing kisses.

Luna's cheeks immediately colored when Ginny said 'best friend'. To Luna, Ginny was her 'only friend'. It was still rather momentous to the young blond to be considered the best of Ginny's friends.

"It is quite alright, Ginevra. I am sure you can borrow one of Luna's nightgowns," Mr. Lovegood answered, not knowing Ginny had come prepared.

Her cake finished, Luna clapped excitedly. It was now time for presents! Receiving her father's first, she tore it open to discover a box of chocolate frogs, a new quill, and a stuffed panda that meowed. Thanking her father, both Lovegoods then looked at Ginny expectantly.

Ginny was happy that Mr. Lovegood had agreed to let her stay over. She loved all the cuddling and other "things" she and Luna did together at night when they were alone since last summer.

Ginny handed Luna the bulky present that she had wrapped herself containing the book, the barretts and the vest Mrs. Weasley had knitted for her.

Luna took the present eagerly, unwrapping it in a great hurry like she had the other present. Taking out the book, she turned it every which way as she leafed through the pages. Thanking Ginny, she then took out the hair barrents, placing some in her hair and some in Ginny's. Smiling dreamily as the wings fluttered, she thanked her best friend again. Next she took out the vest, and promised to wear it.

"Thank you, Ginny."

Leaning over towards her friend, she hugged Ginny and gave her a kiss on the cheek. What wasn't seen was the feel she copped of one of Ginny's breasts. Leaning back, she smiled at the redhead as her father stood up.

"Ginny, why don't you help Luna take her gifts upstairs. I will clean up here," Mr. Lovegood told them.

Ginny beamed as she watched her best friend tear into her gifts. Luna seemed pleased and Ginny giggled as she had a barrette in her hair. The clips were lovely.

Ginny's eyes grew wide as Luna's willowy fingers touched her. Grinning at Luna, she was happy they were going to have so alone time. Ever since last summer things had shifted slightly. Scooping up Luna's gifts, she took a sugary icing top piece of cake. The pretty swirly frosting would look great on Luna's pale skin, Gin thought mischievously.

Up the stairs they climbed to Luna's room...

Collecting the gifts her father had given her, Luna headed upstairs to her room. Her room hardly ever changed, the latest addition being a painting of Ginny on the wall. Luna thought it a good idea, so she could talk to her friend even when they were seperated. Putting away her gifts, she didn't want to lose them. Her things didn't disappear as much as they did at Hogwarts, but still...

"I made sure to put a silencing charm on my bed, this morning. The gorbleblumps squeak a great deal when someone is on the bed."

Her father's presents put away, she looked for Ginny. Luna still had to put her only friend's presents away. Then she would be ready to play Poke and Tickle.

"I hope father didn't put any real unicorn in the cake."

Ginny loved Luna's room, it was much bigger than her tiny room at The Burrow. She put her nightsack down and watched Luna putting away her things.

She nodded, noting the bed didn't squeak when she sat down on the edge of it. She stuck her finger in the frosting and licked it all off her digit. Grinning at Luna, she couldn't wait to lick it off of her skin.

"I hope he didn't either," Ginny giggled, nearly choaking on the frosting.

Luna just nodded absently, stripping down to her underwear before getting onto the bed. Sitting cross legged behind the redhead, she placed her hands on Ginny's back. Running her fingers up and down the other girl's clothed back, she sang a Muggle song.

"The itsy, bitsy spider went up the water spout. Down came the rain and washed the spider out. Then itsy, bitsy spider climbed up the water spout..."

Not sure what Ginny had planned for them tonight, she assumed it would be better if she wore less clothes. Clad in only her bra, panties, and knee-high socks, she was ready for whatever her very adventurous friend might have planned.

"I hope I didn't bother you too much during the party."

Ginny watched as Luna wasted no time in stripping down to her underthings and socks. Giggling as Luna tickled her up her back and sang the muggle song, Ginny felt a little tremble run through her at the anticipation of what they were about to do.

"Of course you didn't bother me!" she said, cocking her head to the side. She wondered why Luna didn't have more friends, it was sad really. She was so much fun to be around.

"It would appear that I am over dressed?" she asked Luna, standing up and dragging the hem of her dress up and over her head. Ginny's small breasts were bare under the dress, leaving her only in yellow knickers.

Calmly accepting Ginny's reassurance, Luna was just checking. The young blonde couldn't help but be self conscious sometimes. If Ginny was mad at her, then she would have no friends.

"Dresses always go over you, unless eaten," she added helpfully.

Trembling a little in excited antincipation, Luna loved it when Ginny's clothes came off. It was like a doorway opening up to a world full of magical places that only she got to go to. In her innocence, she never thought about Ginny having other lovers. Even before the dress had cleared the redhead's chin, Luna was up and kissing hello to her best friend's breasts. Ginny tried not to laugh at Luna's comment about her dress, what sort of dress could be eaten? She decided to shelve that question until later. Right now, Luna was already planting kisses on her nipples. Ginny grinned and dropped the dress to the floor. She didn't let anyone but Luna touch her like this. Around Luna, she felt compleatly unguarded.

Ginny nodded, reaching up to slide the straps of Luna's bra down, "I want to see," she told her friend, reaching behind her and unhooking the bra while she pressed a open mouthed kiss to Luna's lips.

Her friend's mirth went unnoticed by her. Luna trusted Ginny completely. If her friend told her to jump off Hogwarts, she would...believing Ginny would be there to catch her at the bottom. Returning the kiss, her small breasts were soon freed. They were still smaller then Ginny's, but that seemed to be something that would never change.
