Tracey chuckled and looked at Heidi grinning. "Surprised by their allure were you?" She kept grinning. "What ones were you watching? Maybe whatever puff piece comes out next in the Prophet I can sell them that little tid bit."
Satisfied with Heidi's handy work too, Tracey nodded. Taking the dish, she put it into the oven. They would have about an hour before dinner was ready. Tracey had already made the salad while stuff was boiling on the stove.
When Heidi dodged the question, Tracey knew the answer. "Ah…well, I should have figured that," she responded.
Turning to Heidi, she shrugged. "Watch something on the tele? Some cartoons perhaps?" she suggested, hoping to lighten the mood. "Or…we can talk?"
Of course we could talk, that went so bloody well last night, Tracey reflected bitterly.
