Tracey wandered through the store only half looking at things. Seemingly without any rhyme or reason, she was adding things to her basket. Without a fair number of things back at her apartment, she was hardly going to make a satisfying and enjoyable dinner. Though, she was used to that…
Walking around an end cap, Tracey stopped dead in her tracks. Seeing a girl dressed very much like a Muggle with her sunglasses and pretty brown hair…she always loved it when she was a brunette… caused Tracey to nearly drop her basket on the floor.
It was Heidi. Tracey had known it the second that she laid eyes on her. When their eyes met, she found herself totally immobilized. Her lips had parted and all she wanted to do was run away to scream and hide.
However, he feet were fixed firmly in place. She couldn't have moved if the building was on fire. If she could have, Tracey might have lit the little store ablaze and used the distraction to escaped.
Licking her lips, no words came. Her mouth was terribly dry and her heart was hammering so hard and fast that she thought she might feint if her heart didn't give out entirely.
Honestly, Tracey wouldn't have minded the last option very much with the current state of things…
