Who: Jessica Runcorn and Penny Quirke.
What: Penny promised Jessica a get away.

Where: Penny’s hunting cabin in Northern Ireland.

Penny tried not to be nervous as she waited for Jessica to arrive. Though she had promised her a trip away from everything the week before Valentine’s Day, it hadn’t been possible due to work and other things. She tried not to let that worry her…
A few hours before, she had sent her enchanted carriage, that hid itself from the eyes of Muggles, to get Jessica at her flat and carry her to the hunting cabin. Though it was in Ireland, the interior of it was distinctly Welsh. There were old trophies and rugs about in addition to the elegant and modern furniture that filled it.
That cabin had a large living room with a huge fire that had a bear skin rug in front of it. There was a dining room table over by the small kitchen that could seat four. On it was a setting for two with flowers in candles as dinner warmed on the stoves.
Penny wore an elegant evening gown of grey silk. She had a fur wrap around her shoulders as the fire roared in the hearth to fight off the winter weather outside where it was cold and snow was falling. Trying to ease her nerves, she sipped at a glass of wine while she waited for Jessica to arrive. |
