Pansy shrugged. “It doesn’t really matter what you’re interested in doing with your P’s and Q’s,” she said dismissively. “No cursing.” Pansy had to stop herself from laughing. She couldn’t think of a single time before this that she had every enforced that rule.
“It is,” she informed Ginny. “Lost track of time?”
“Ah yes. The war.” Pansy rolled her eyes. There was nothing to worry about. She was Pureblood. Ginny wouldn’t need to worry if she didn’t associate with such disreputable people. Pansy knew nothing about the war really except Draco’s boasting which she didn’t believe for a second.
“Just wandering aimlessly?” Pansy asked with a skeptical look.
“Well, who am I to stop you?” Pansy grinned, forming a plan. “I can see wanting to get away from the rest of the Gryffindorks.” She shrugged. “Just don’t get caught.” Pansy turned on her heel and started down the hallway.
She would be following after Ginny shortly. Maybe she could catch her doing something even worse. If so, she might be able to get her detention for the rest of the year. It wouldn’t get her as much notoriety as getting Potter or Ginny’s twin brothers, but it would do.
