Allyson let out a small noise of annoyance, seeing the younger Veela walk away. As Gabrielle left, the older Turpin stepped into the hallway, out of the shadows and entered the room. Lisa was still sleeping! Glancing around, she found a pitcher of cold water, picking it up and walking to the bed. Desperate times called for desperate measures, right?
Sputtering and gasping came from her action, and soon, someone managing to fly out of bed faster than the speed of light. Shivering as water continued to run to her feet and drip on the carpet, Lis wiped her face, looking up to see what had happened. She found Her sister holding a pitcher overturned, in the area where she had just been. "What the-"
"Don't start with me." Allyson began, cutting her off effectively. "How could you sleep through that?" She asked, dropping the pitcher and coming to stand in front of her younger sister. "She was standing right there for a good few minutes."
A confused look crossed Lisa's face, wondering what Allyson was talking about. Earning a growl and a pinch to her arm, Allyson looked at Lisa again. "Gabrielle, oh I want to call you a name..." she grumbled, glaring at Lisa. Lisa nodded, rubbing her arm.
"You said we would talk, what is the matter?" Lisa asked, hoping not to get anymore pinches.
"Well, if you paid enough attention, you would know." Allyson said, sitting down on the nearest chair. "There is no reason why you can't be with her every now and then. All you do is work, and worry about work, and talk about, eat, sleep and even make love to work!" Eyes flashing to the door, she tried to keep her voice down. "Do you understand?" she asked. "I have been trying to tell you for these past years how to balance, but no, you haven't listened. There was always a problem that could use more fixing. But in fixing that problem, you only caused a greater one. You have a month's leave, Lisa...make the best of it. Find a balance..."
With that, Allyson left, knowing her sister was not going to argue the fact that she did work a lot. Blinking, Lisa slowly got dressed, fixing her hair and called some houselves to fix the bed and clean it up. She had to see what was going on in her absence, and by all the 'her's Allyson had thrown at her, Lisa knew which her sister was referring to.
Walking out of the room, she concentrated on the bond she used to have with Gabrielle, going door to door to find even the faintest flicker in it, anything that would help her.
