Gabrielle gave Heidi a bright smile when she saw her. “Allo,” she greeted her again, this time with no questioning in her tone. Gabrielle was surly observant but she was not a mind reader. Unlike with some few, Heidi was not oblivious in her attraction so Gabrielle reserved judgment for the moment.
Stepping deeper into the locker room, Gabrielle certainly saw her Heidi’s shirt rise up a little bit. “Lost? Non, non. Excusez-moi.” Gabrielle moved and sat down on the bench. “I was just…” She paused and twirled her hand as if searching for the word. It always came off charming to English speakers, in her experience, to look like you were struggling a tiny bit with the language. “…wander?” She looked at Heidi for confirmation.
“I am not bothering you, am I?” Standing up, she rolled her eyes at herself. “Forgive me for being rude,” Gabrielle began with a charming smile, “I am Gabrielle Delacour.” She extended her hand dantily to Heidi.
