Fleur only shook her head at Gabrielle's obvious satisfaction. She knew it was useless to try and change her sister's mind. The only way it would change is if Gabrielle changed it on her own. Fleur knew that stubbornness ran in the Delacour family.
Chuckling at Gabrielle's dissatisfaction with her time, Fleur looked questioningly over her glass as she drank some more of her wine, "I zhought 'e was bretrozhed? To, ah..." She tried to remember the girl, "To Sara Moon, non?"
"Oui, I am sorry about zhat." Fleur had been with Lavender for quite a while and when she got back, Gabrielle wasn't there and she had figured the girl had grown tired of waiting, lack of patience was another Delacour trait, and gone to amuse herself so FLeur went ahead and went to bed. "Eet sounds like 'e did not live up to expectations."
"Oui, last year when I went traveling some. Eet was positively magnifique." Fleur sighed as she remembered her time in Amsterdam. It had been one of the most exhilarating and taboo times she had ever had. "I will." Fleur promised, knowing that her sister would love the city as much as she did, "'ow about zhat as your graduation present, non? Just you, me, and Amsterdam?"
Fleur knew her mother would never approve, when Fleur had mentioned that she was going the first time, her mother had thrown a fit, worried Fleur would overdose on drugs and too much sex (Fleur never told her exactly what really happened, sure her mother would absolutely die if she knew), she would surely go crazy if she brought Gabrielle along. But her mother would get over it.
