Gabrielle nodded. She didn’t think that Fleur was lying so she was happy to discover that she hadn’t been with Lavender and didn’t bother to hide her satisfaction. Her eyes lingered on Fleur’s neckline as the buttons became undone.
“Oh, I did,” she said, obviously quite underwhelmed by the experience. Gabrielle rolled her eyes. “Theodore Nott managed to sneak away from his comrades and followed me into zhe corridors last night.”
“Merci,” Gabrielle said sweetly, taking the glass of wine. Now, if only Fleur would light a cigarette…
“We didn’t last night,” Gabrielle pouted. “So, I gave Theo a chance.” She shook her head. She intentionally left things vague so she could details later.
