Heidi still sat on her bench for some time. How could she have been so stupid as to lose focus like that? And what had happened to her broom? It had never messed up before, it was the best broom money could buy, so what the hell had happened? And regardless, she should have been watching. She knew she had needed to practice her beaters more.
And then she stopped thinking about quidditch, she didn't know why. A sudden image of Tracey formed in her mind. What if something had happened and she would never see Tracey again? Where was she anyways? She should probably go look for the blonde.
Hearing a knock at the door, she pondered for a while on just not opening it, not wanting to let anyone in through the locking charm. But feeling like the person wasn't going to go away, Heidi reached for her wand and undid the charm on the door, the use of magic making the cut on her head throb a bit.
"It's open!" she called out, hoping the other person could hear her and that it wasn't a bunch of people wishing her better. She looked a mess, bruises all over, the huge one on her side and the cut on her head and little ones in a few other places. She lay back and waited for the person to enter.
