"Okay." Heidi said, keeping calm. But inside, she was wondering what had happened that could make a girl that was so usually calm, almost distant even, shook up like this. She walked with Tracey to lead her up to the school, to a deserted, rarely occupied hallway away from the normal path of students.
The fact that Sara knew about them frightened Heidi. Maybe not for the same reasons as Tracey was frightened however. She was scared because if just one person knew (granted, is was Sara Moon and she wasn't one to be trusted) and Tracey was this freaked out, what would the blonde do? She didn't want Tracey to get to scared and break it off to save herself.
"What did she do? What'd she say?" the sound of Tracey's voice, how it was so scared and sad, made Heidi's heart fall. She felt herself getting angry, a rare emotion for the Hufflepuff, at Sara for doing whatever she did to Tracey. She hated seeing Tracey hurt.
Watching Tracey take the fag out and light it, she was slightly surprised, not that she cared that Tracey smoked just that the girl didn't seem the type. "I didn't know you smoked."
