It too all Sara had not to laugh at the pathetic display of Tracey trying to remain so strong. Sara had always loved to break the resolve of pathetic people. And right now, Sara considered Tracey rather pathetic.
"Good." She keep grinning, almost evilly, "It's good to see you still know your place."
"What can I say?" Sara shrugged and kept up the fake friendliness. "I wanted to see how the halfblood was doing." She gave a pointed stare at Tracey. "And it seems she's doing quite well for someone as desperate for money and status as you are."
Sara's face twisted in to a frown at the mention of Theo. But, it was only for a second before she managed to compose herself again and chose to ignore the comment. Theo and her had official "sealed" their engagement a few weeks ago and it did nothing for Sara except make her crave a female more. Instead, she went straight for the kill. Well, almost. Why not have a little fun holding the information over Tracey's head?
"You know, you never struck me as a quidditch fan." She looked at her nails and said conversationally, letting the first hint drop. "But it seems to me that you're quite the devoted little fan, aren't you?" she sneered.
