Sara, unlike Tracey, had spent the past few days not a happy camper. She wasn't happy. Why? Simple, because Tracey was happy and she wasn't. Sara should be the happy one, after all, she had the money, the power and friends and what did Tracey have? A muggle mother and no money.
So, how was it that she could be happy, after Sara had dumped her? Sara herself was decently happy, she had a respectable group of friends, Theo was finally starting to act like some semblance of an adult and her parents were only gaining on the ladder of the purebloods. But, she still craved that touch, the touch of another girl and she hadn't found anyone that quite fit her need.
Sara had dumped Tracey for a number of reasons. Mainly, Sara had finally realized that even if they were a secret, being with anything less that a pureblood would soil her image, even as friends. Also, Tracey was getting to...involved. Sara hadn't even wanted a relationship, she had just played Tracey for good sex and she had eventually gotten bored and moved on to better, purer things.
And now here the blonde was, acting all happy. Why? She should still be wallowing as far as Sara was concerned. Well, until she had witnessed that kiss at Hogsmeade, the one with Tracey and the other brunette, Heidi Macavoy. Really, she had expected more from Tracey, even if she was a halfblood. A Hufflepuff? really?
Wanting to wait until she had more proof, Sara had held off on confronting Tracey until she gathered evidence. So she watched the "happy couple" for a few days. Heidi was nothing more than a moron, even for a pureblood, in Sara's opinion. She had been hiding in the library one day and listened to her gush sickeningly over her and Tracey's date to that Bell girl. What a fool. TO top that, she had watched Tracey as well and noticed an accessory had been added to her wardrobe that she seemed quite fond of, but was easily far our of her meager price range. But not of a pureblood's like Heidi's.
The smile Tracey seemed to wear on her face all the time was sickening. It should be her with the smile, not some poor halfblood. She would fix that.
Waiting outside the hall in her usual uniform, Sara leaned against the wall with her arms crossed against her chest as she waited for Tracey to emerge from her "lab". When she did, Sara let a menacing grin creep into her face as the girl walked her way.
"Hello, Tracey." she purred in her arrogant manner. "How's my little halfblood doing these days?"
