Tracey shrugged. “I can usually tell when someone is interested,” she replied carefully. Little did she know how prophetic her words might be. She didn’t dare turn around. “Don’t you think you would be able to tell? What about you, there must be a least one someone, right?”
Sara was so close. Tracey could feel it. She didn’t know what to do. Her eyes pinched shut and she berated herself for being so stupid. She had almost kissed the other girl and surly she had noticed. What would happen when she told people?
Tracey wanted to moan and scream and shiver…she really had no idea what to do or feel. The tension in the air was pure agony. She didn’t dare more or breathe. Her stiff posture and complete lack of movement might hint at her thoughts, but that was better than moaning or gasping and stating her thoughts.
“Thanks,” Tracey whispered huskily, trying to distract Sara. Tracey remained still as a statue unsure what else to do.
