It was good to be back in a place that was familiar and very much a somewhat regular place for them. The atmosphere was always friendly and fun and she'd always liked it when they just sat down for a pint. Still, there was a bit of tension between them but at least they were trying to move past it. They'd just have to keep trying because Katie refused to lose Oliver Wood. Even if he had a nice chest. Other men had nice bodies. she didn't need to lust after his. Hm. This thought process wasn't very helpful.
She let out a light laugh, feeling a bit more relaxed. "You're right," she said, tracing her finger over the rim of her drink. "It's just been... well, I guess I didn't realize how much we talked until we weren't actually talking." Her eyes flickered up and she met his gaze. "I missed it."
It was strange to miss someone you saw every day but when they weren't talking? It was very hard. Biting her lip, she tilted her head, blond hair falling over her shoulder. "I'm really sorry... I didn't mean to accuse you of... you know. I know you wouldn't- ever... do anything like that."
