Whether or not it sounded promising, it was the only thing he could offer. The situation depended on them being able to move past it. Trying seemed about the only thing they could really do. Ignoring it clearly hadn't been the right option, as now it was bigger than it had originally been. Following Katie out of the locker room, the two of them headed to the usual pub. This wasn't the first time they'd gone out for a bite to eat and it certainly wouldn't be the last ... at least, not if they could help it. He couldn't help but raise an eyebrow and chuckle lightly at her question.
"It's been a few days, Kaite," he responded with a smile, "Not a year. I'm good."
