As he laughed, Harry was once again relieved that he'd thought to invite Hermione over. Her easy and uncomplicated company was exactly what he had needed. "I'll take that as you had meant it," he chuckled, knowing full well that she hadn't meant anything negative with her honesty. It was a quality of hers that he appreciated. If nothing else, she had no problem telling him he was being stupid when he was. He needed that in his life. Ron, of course, could be counted on to do the same.
He could certainly relate to wishing there were fewer people lingering around the ministry on a daily basis. Sometimes it was like a zoo in there and you couldn't help but feel lost among the bustle of the crowd, everyone wearing the same ministry robes and blurring together into a mess of dark fabric and serious faces. It's why he tended to stick with only the outer robe. Besides, he'd never been all that comfortable with complete Wizarding fashion.
"There's always time to eat, Hermione," he responded, his amusement slipping into his tone. "Did you forget again?" he asked, raising an eyebrow as he grabbed two glasses from the cupboard as she uncorked the wine she'd brought.
