Oh Hermione didn't know about that. Most people would go somewhere nice and relax. Hermione would probably use a vacation to clean, and catch up on books that she hadn't read yet. All of those things that probably someone who liked vacations wouldn't do. Most people wouldn't consider that a vacation, right? Though she could gladly take a vacation perhaps when she felt like there was a right time to take it.
If he didn't want to drink, she would certainly drink for him. Not that she'd turned into a lush since school, but she enjoyed a glass of wine with dinner. Not to mention that there wasn't much that Harry could do that would make Hermione think he was a fool. "Good, because last time you made spaghetti, it was like eating sticks. And I mean that in the nicest way possible." Hopefully these lasagna noodles would be better.
Hermione wasn't any better at cooking, in fact she was probably worse than he was. Giving him her coat, she went into the kitchen so that she could uncork the wine and have a drink. "You know, it was work. Everyone's back pretty much, so it was busy. No time to eat or anything." She shrugged a little. "I was kind of looking forward to more days with less people, but so much for that."
