Lexi ignored the sarcastic tone. You couldn't bother the sarcastic with their own craft. "It is disappointing. It's a useful skill to have," she commented, finishing her own drink before deciding that she wasn't going to be so generous as to give him the second ale. He was doing well enough on his own and she figured he'd be fine to continue. Letting her fingers wrap around the still cool glass, she sat back again.
She smiled when he responded, another piece falling into place. It no longer was so much about positively identifying him, but more wondering how long he was going to continue and how much more information he was going to give away. "Well, that makes it all the more interesting," she commented, brushing a stray strand of hair from her eyes.
"I suppose there's plenty to hide from. Aurors. Ex-Lovers. Friends. Enemies. Parents. Those who are good at hiding in plan sight. Seems like a lot of effort," she shrugged, watching him over her glass.
