After the debacle with waking up one morning as a man, Roslyn's resolve to go through the trip to Tibet was even more reinforced. She'd spoken to Miles and he wasn't happy but she let him know that Adrian had offered to come by and he could report whatever Miles wanted. He wasn't happy still mostly because she was going so far away but it wasn't the first time and Ros promised to send word to him every day and to be careful, and to let him know when she got back.
It was annoying but she loved him and she was going to it was little price to pay all in all.
Asking Adrian to come along had been a very spontaneous thing but then the idea was so good. They got along and he was someone that Miles trusted with her, and who wouldn't let any harm come to her. It was good. Mentioning him about getting out of his suits and wording it just so had been a bit awkward but it was true enough; get him out of the office and outside.
Planning had paid off and it didn't take too long to get everything assembled and soon she was in the mountains in Tibet. It was so far removed from her life at home that she really did feel the peace that was here. Roslyn had gotten to work right away, changing into one of her favourite working outfits and getting dirty so to speak. She was sitting on the edge of one of the site entrances, perched on a rock and looking over a few pieces as she wrote in one of her leather-bound research journals. She knew full well she could have done a lot of what she did with magic but in certain locations around the world, less magic was often better.
