Clint already hated whoever the bloke was with her. He was probably a very nice guy and that was... annoying. Because Clint wasn't a nice guy. Nice guys didn't have secret friends and nice guys didn't debate whether or not they should be seen with people of certain status in public. Bloody ponce. He shot the bloke a mild glare and rolled his eyes at the hug. Penny's wave, caught him a bit off guard and he smiled the first smile in days. Pushing his way through the Sunday shoppers, he headed over. Probably a bad idea but Clint didn't give a fuck. Penny was easy to talk to. She was gorgeous and he liked her. Fuck his family and her blood status. It wasn't like he was going to marry the girl.
"Hey," he said, stopping in front of her, smiling down. She looked gorgeous today. She looked gorgeous every day. He was glad he'd come out. Seeing her made his day... week, even a helluva lot brighter.
"What brings you out today?" he asked, nodding towards the families eating ice cream and candies.
