Harry, Luna, Open Harry was at war with himself as he stepped into the familiar atmosphere of The Three Broomsticks. On one hand, he really didn't want to be there. He didn't want to have to plaster on the fake happy mask and deal with everything he'd rather forget. He didn't want to deal with Ginny and he certainly didn't want to cause Luna any more problems with the bloody media. He felt bad enough about it as it was. On the other hand, however, Luna was one of his best friends and he would never do something as ridiculous as skip her birthday.
Glancing around, he finally spotted the blonde in question and headed straight over to her table, stopping at the end of it. "Happy birthday, Luna," he smiled, all his earlier worries securely locked away and leaving nothing but happiness to seep into his smile. "Mind if I sit?" he asked, nodding toward the seat opposite hers.
