“Sportsman? Nah, you’ve got the wrong girl Bell. I enjoy winning. It’s a ‘claw thing, we enjoy being on top.” No double entendre intended, watching Katie take her frustrations out on her snowman until chunks of it tumbled out to rejoin its fallen brothers and sisters. The cocoa was warming as with a few more flicks of her wand, Penny ensured that the face of the Falcons current captain began to emerge.
Probably not wisest given the company but he was the leader for her favourite team.
Leaving the carrots and pushing the drink into Olivers hand, Penny scooped up a handful of snow and sent it towards Katie’s back. Around her snowman, the charmed balls began to float though only briefly and without the smoothness that she and Oliver had seen during the trip to the winter fair. An impressive amount of charm work, Penny was still figuring out how to mimic it.
Merlin, she did love a challenge.
“I love yours Katie. Ollie’s needs a kilt and a flowing blonde hair to complete his.” Moving off the bench, her arm slid around the blondes waist and rested her head on her shoulder for a moment. “I vote we just make snow angels.”
