“You loved it,” came the slightly broad accent as she had a go at mimicking the round tones of her friend. It wasn’t close to the burr he had but it was a hell of a lot closer than the first time she’d mangled it at eleven years old and desperate to make him laugh. This was fun, it was lighthearted and without the ties of her edits and work which she was far too good at getting sucked under by. And who didn’t love the idea of a snowball fight?
