They both probably should have been laughing. "It isn't?" She hadn't heard that before. Though if she'd tried to think of people who had held hands before that were just friends, she couldn't think of any. Of course that didn't mean much, she hadn't quite been paying attention to things like that. Her lips twisted up in thought, and then she finally put her hand in his. He was trying to be nice, and she liked that.
"Thank you, Harry." Of course Luna knew that it was never going to be happily ever after. That didn't mean she had to assume that it was all going to be awful. She worried that it might, or that maybe she just wouldn't like things like that. "People are hard to understand. Animals are much easier." It was easy to tell what they were thinking. She didn't understand most people though, just like they didn't understand her.
Honestly she had no idea if she understood relationships at all.
