At the Winter Carnival you will find many attractions. On the Hogwarts Grounds you will finds ice made, and magic run rides for all ages, from classic muggle rides given a wizarding flare, to wondrous ice dragon rides! You will also be able to view the many animated ice sculptures made by students and faculty through out the grounds. You will also find many student run food and drink stands through out. In Hogsmeade Village you will find much more going on. The shops are all open and running their famous 50% and more off sales! What could make this better? This year you will be able to find many kiosks on the streets from businesses not only in Diagon Alley, but other popular destinations from around the world selling their wares at a reduced rate. And parents, you will find your shopping made easier this year as a winter wonderland park has been created for the enjoyment of all young children, from a miniature Quidditch Pitch to slides and climbing apparatuses, all made of a non-slip ice for beauty, safety and enjoyment. All over-seen by students and faculty so you may enjoy an hour of unfettered shopping at a time. And as the sun sinks beneath the horizon, do not fear! Neon faerie lights will appear, adding even more wonderment to the beauty of the ice and silvery wonderland. But there is more! Friday Night come to the ice stage between Hogwarts and the Village, or you will miss out on the Weird Sisters! Saturday bringing more concert enjoyment as Disciplined Breakdown takes the stage! But that is not all! The final night of fun for the entire family comes as The Whomping Willows, a budding band straight from Hogwarts' Halls, takes the stage, ending in a grand finale of fireworks, the perfect ending to a weekend of winter wonderment. Bellow we will make headers for each day. When posting your thread under the appropriate day use the following format in the subject line: Friday/Saturday/Sunday | Time | Location | Who In the 'Who' spot, make sure you indicate if it is open or with someone specific, and change the heading as people enter into the mix. This will help in keeping things organized at a glance. |
