Friday | 3:00 pm | Hogwarts Grounds | Penny & Oliver
It really shouldn't be as entertaining as Oliver was finding it, particularly since it wasn't just the girls who panicked about speaking to the opposite sex. Oliver, himself, had the odd time when he simply avoided the opposite sex rather than have to actually hold a conversation. He didn't care who you were. At thirteen years old, girls were scary. It didn't get any easier either. He'd spent three days working himself up to the point where he could ask one of his classmates to go to the Yule Ball with him ... and he'd been in his final year then.
He was safe to say, however, that he had not analysed them and he certainly never mentioned the "L" word. Nope. That was taboo territory. Still, it was all rather amusing and he rather enjoyed thinking back to his time at school. Being back on the castle grounds was nostalgic and quite possibly something he'd needed.
Her question, however, brought him back out of his memories. "Oh, I think it might work all the more now," he laughed, offering her a shrug. "Men are easy. It's a sad fact, I'm afraid."
