Friday | 3:00 pm | Hogwarts Grounds | Penny & Oliver
The two of them were very different beings, but very similar on certain levels. Everyone knew his love came from the game he played. How many times had the twins mocked his passionate pre-game speeches? How many times had he been accused of not paying any attention when something Quidditch related was going on? Quidditch was his Kryptonite, but Charms were Penny's and he had no problem letting her indulge in her excitement. Sure, a little bit of teasing was always involved, but it was harmless fun between the two of them.
He couldn't help the surprised laughter that escaped him at the thought of Penny and her friends hanging around the boys change rooms trying to take down the charms. It was probably the single funniest thing he'd heard all day. "You know," he chuckled, taking a quick drink of his hot chocolate, "Speaking as a guy, you should have just asked for them to show you the goods. Probably would have saved you some effort."
The two of them continued on down the path, but Oliver couldn't help a small chuckle every now and again about the change rooms. He wondered who else had bothered to try such things? And more importantly, why hadn't he bothered to try such things? Of course, in his defense, he'd been two side-tracked by his Quidditch dreams to pay much attention to the opposite sex.
