Harry loved the Winter Festival for several different reasons. He enjoyed the fact that it was the perfect opportunity to run into people he hadn't seen in quite a while. He'd be the very first person to admit that he spend probably more time absorbed in his work than was truly healthy (it was part of the reason, he never got on George's case about the other man's work schedule. They had a certain understanding, of sorts). This was one weekend away and you couldn't help but run into someone you knew. The second reason he enjoyed the festival, was the large castle sitting just North of the Village. Harry missed Hogwarts. It'd been his first real home. No matter what had taken place on those grounds, Harry would always love the place. To further solidify the thought, Harry was only now returning down to Hogsmeade, having spent the afternoon up at the school. It'd been nice to see Professor McGonagall again, and Hagrid too ... though, he could have done without the bone-crushing hug the half-giant had greeted him with. He supposed it was better than a slap on the back.

Just because he hadn't bothered to have his eyes fixed didn't mean he always had to wear his glasses. He was simply more comfortable in them, is all. Besides, contacts (as the case had been earlier in the day) always fought him and Harry was sad to report that he didn't always win those battles. As for the hat ... well, that had been a happy coincidence. One he wasn't going to complain about. It served it's purpose well.
Slipping into the crowd that had formed for that evening's performance, Harry simply enjoyed his quiet moment of anonymity. He wasn't a huge Disciplined Breakdown fan, but he had to admit that there were certain situations where they just seemed to have a particularly perfect song. It was a rather convenient talent. He chuckled to himself, turning to walk a few steps backwards as his attention was caught by two girls walking by with what he was pretty sure was a ridiculous large amount of WWW products. He was almost relieved that he wasn't on duty tonight.
Smiling and in particularly good spirits, he'd just turned back around to be rewarded with a face full of surprisingly soft fabric. "What the-"
