Despite the fact that his appalling lack of appetite had been enough of an issue for Theo that it had also become an issue for his best friend, the boy in question still managed to constantly overlook the basic essential of eating. Whether something had gone wrong during his time in St Mungo's, if it was some brain damage from all the Crucio's his father had thrown at him, if it was some psychological block bound to him no one really knew, but his was a tummy that never growled; whenever Theo realised that while he'd been forgetting, Draco had not only been remembering but had been planning for him, he usually felt guilty. Guilty and grateful because he knew that Draco wouldn't look out for just anyone the way he looked out for him.
The subject of his wardrobe was something much harder for him to understand, although he remained amused by the care and attention Draco put into his own appearance. It made him feel something like fond hope, that his friend could still find it in him to make the effort to stay as put together as he always seemed to be, despite the fact that Theo knew that wasn't truly the case. His shadows were the idiot to Draco's poetry though, seeming almost an echo of each other, but he'd always be both proud and shamed by the way Draco coped with his.
Theo had mastered the art of moving unnoticed and without impression from an early age and he almost huffed a laugh at his friend's grumbling even as he side-stepped out of the way of yet another egocentric businessman. He had to admit that he was pleased when they ducked away into a shop and off the street though; he could play avoid the crowd all day but he'd prefer not to. He looked back as he stepped in, some small subconscious almost anxious gesture that he did sometimes like he had to make sure Draco was still there, unnoticed and gone as quick as it had come.
He inclined his head in agreement and took a seat, managing to look like royalty and someone's abandoned coat all at the same time. Sitting there on his own in a French clothes shop as Draco talked specifics with some tailor, he smiled; this was hand's down, miles better than anything he could have been doing on his own at Nott estate.
