AMESOEUR RELEASE DATE
By Katherine Tibbel
Ever since that fateful day in the Ministry of Magic when an over-worked and exhausted Ministery Official made the grave mistake of tripping while carrying an, as of then, untested potion, the Wizarding world has been left abuzz and eager. Or, at least some of us have. Not everyone is eager for the release of the supposed ‘Soul Mate Potion’.
Ever since that day in 2002 the Ministry has seen a steady flood of letters asking after the status of the potion, when it will be released internationally, let alone nationally, as well as letters from all around the world condemning it. Yes indeed, folks, not everyone out there believes that this potion is going to help along the healing after war.
“This potion is in no way going to be forced upon individuals. It is something that will be offered if the populace wants to use it. So those against the potion do not need to worry, their right to find love the old fashioned way will be preserved,” said Gaspard Jameson, new Head of the Amesoeur Project.
He then went on to say that the official release date for Amesoeur will be February 14th. That is right folks, they are catering to the romantic at heart, the potion will be released on Valentine’s Day.
And yes, you also read right above. Ameoseur, on top of coming up to its release date, now has a new Head. As announced yesterday by Draco Malfoy himself via journal, and now confirmed
by the Ministry, the once notorious playboy has stepped down from the project. One has to wonder why, when the success of the project rests largely on his shoulders.
“I am a Potion Master, and my greatest love is working on new and complicated potions. I feel as if I have gone as far as I can with Amesoeur and wish to move on to other projects within the Department [of Mysteries]. Gaspard is a good Potion Master, and has been with the project since before I was brought in. As such, there is no other more suited for carrying on with the Project.” When asked if he would be participating in the potion after its release, Mr. Malfoy refused to comment.
The prediction of sales for the potion are high, and really this writer can see why. With an entire generation of eligible bachelors and bachelorettes with Hero status, why wouldn’t you hope to be that fateful someone for them? Especially when the more notable of them, Harry Potter, is still holding strong to his single status? I have a prediction myself: Amesoeur will sell far better than the Ministry expects.
