Important Email to my AOC Students
To:Hilary Andrews, Emma Arlington, Aaron Endsley, Evanna Grey, Christina Kearns, Joanna Krzyzewski and Shakira Ripoll From:Keri Taylor-Luciano Subject:My Altamont Company Classes
I have mentioned this matter previously to a few of my students, but I have just gotten my updated class listing, so I'm going to mention it once again. I am currently working on a project, a film to be specific, in New York City. This film is currently in production and it will be for the next several weeks. Because of this, I am required to be on location in New York from Monday through Friday, with a few exceptions. Because of my scheduling conflicts, AOC has allowed me to hire a perfectly capable and beyond qualified assistant to teach my Tuesday and Thursday classes for me while I am up in New York. Her name is Amanda Porter and she has been studying ballet for over ten years now and I think you will all find that she is a more than qualified substitute. If for one reason or another I am in town during the week, I will be teaching the class and Amanda will be assisting. She will of course also be assisting me in all of my weekend classes, which I will get to in a moment.
If you are registered for my Saturday lyrical, turns or my AOC kids pointe, leaps and turns classes, then you will undoubtedly be seeing me every weekend and you will be unaffected by my scheduling conflicts. Additionally, if you have signed up for the Friday night master class, I will be in to teach on the dates that I have been assigned.
Obviously, my availability will be limited for the next few weeks. But if you need to speak with me for whatever reason or there is a piece you would like to work on or for me to review, by all means, get in contact with me during the week via email and I will be sure to set an appointment to meet with you over the course of the weekend. In the past, I have worked with students outside of class and choreographed routines for/with them. So if you at any point in time would like to do this, by all means, let me know. And if you are new to a particular style of dance and you would like additional help/input etc. feel free to see me about that as well.
I am going to ask you all a huge favor and that is to please be patient with me. I am going to try and check my emails as often as possible and I will try to respond in an expedient manner. So if you do not hear from me immediately about something, give me some time, please. And I would lastly just like to say that while I may be busy with other things, I am a professional and I am completely dedicated to my job as your teacher. I will not let anything hinder me from doing my job to the best of my ability, I promise you that. I look forward to seeing you all in class at one point or another and I hope that you come to enjoy our time together. And just to clear up any confusion, my name is Keri Luciano, but I am professionally known under my maiden name, Taylor. So if I'm listed on your schedule as Keri Taylor or Keri Luciano, it's me. I am going to leave you all with my contact information, schedule and a copy of my AOC bio, so you can feel free to take a look if you like.

AOC Bio:
Full Name: Keri Taylor-Luciano Age:20 Mini-Bio: I was born and raised in Los Angeles, California. At the age of five, I discovered my love for dance. Since then, I have intensely studied ballet, jazz, lyrical and street dancing. As a teenager, I relocated from LA to Orlando, where I attended Trinity Prep. While there, I was heavily involved in their performance arts program. Post graduation, I got a job teaching at another dance academy where I was able to gain valuable experience. How many years you've been teaching? 2 Years you've danced/sung/acted/filmed/modeled/drawn? I've been a dancer for 15 years. Dance/Singing/Acting/Drawing/Modeling/Filming history? As a child, I was a member of a Dance and Drill team which lead to my being awarded several scholarships which allowed me to study after school in prestigious programs, often for up to six or seven hours a day. With the dance team, I was able to travel across the nation, performing at half time shows for the NBA and NFL. At the age of twelve, I was given the opportunity to travel to Brisbane, Australia to perform in a dance expo. I was the dance teacher two summer's ago at Altamont University's summer camp and just last year, I was an instructor at the Interlachen School of Dance in Winter park where I specialized in teaching Ballet and Jazz. Something people would be shocked to know about you? That I am married and have a daughter. Other interests?(Outside of the one you're teaching) I am a working actress. I have appeared in the independent film Waitress and I am currently filming a movie for Warner Brothers titled August Rush. Main goals for your classes? For my students to become better dancers and to learn a prestigious form of ballet. My Pointe footwork
