"ME?" Aziraphale's look of shock was immediate and sincere. "What makes you think it was me, dear chap? You're here, too. I hardly think if I'd done anything, which I haven't, that they'd send you here too because of it."
"Wait...are you saying you also don't know how you got here or why?"

What in the name of Up There were they thinking? Who were "they", come to think of it? His side, or Crowley's?
"You don't suppose this is ineffability, do you?" Aziraphale was not aware of anything that was a greater plan than the last one they had endured. "Maybe it's just another Great Plan, but I don't know of another one. Maybe something else had to be devised after we stopped the last one."
Aziraphale's voice sounded as insecure in the matter as he felt.
