Well, it hurt a little to be put behind Susan -- not that Susan wasn't at all important to them, as she'd been her best friend since forever -- but Hannah could accept it. That was Karma, wasn't it? And it couldn't be easy to be in her shoes, eternal secret keeper and mediator between the pair of them. She latched on to that bit of information and ran with it, unable to just let herself dwell on negative feelings. Her mouth ran a mile a minute, "Oh, Susan. I've got to get her in on this. I'm sure she knows all about party planning, with the kids. Only this is for adults, obviously, and not like some birthday thing for the wee ones. You have a gift wish list yet?"
She shifted herself to lean on the broom handle. "If? This is a big deal, Justin. All your friends and family have to find out at some point. Not via the invitations, I mean. That'd be a bit...tactless," Hannah shrugged, rolling her eyes. During her engagement Malcolm had dropped the bomb on some of his connections that way; his circle of friends had always been larger than hers, though. She brightened, reaching out again to pat him on the arm, "But I think you two deserve to celebrate it, finally."
