Sana fiddled with her napkin to have something to do with her hands. It felt silly, dancing around the more obvious questions that she wanted to ask and suspected Azah was curious about too; was there someone else in her life, and where did they stand after too long apart. "So how's the speed dating going?" she asked instead, prolonging the small talk in ways that might lead to a more natural way of inquiring into Azah's life. "Is it that thing where you sit at a table and get five minutes to meet someone before they move on? I got dragged to that by a friend in New York, and then they wound up not letting me move around with the guys and meet the women so it was a total bust."
