Saturday was somewhat of a busy day, usually. It was just more that the busy came with the sun setting and people wanting to go out to eat on the weekend than in the earlier part of the day, though she did get a good amount of customers. So at the moment, she was going through the paperwork on her desk. She really much preferred all the stuff that involved the customers, but she was pretty well organised when it came to deal with all the behind the scenes stuff as well and she refused to give up the kitchen or occasionally playing hostess, just to sit behind the desk half the day. That wasn't really where her passion was.
And she might have been a little distracted. She'd sort of been expecting every day since having the conversation with Sana over owls that she might drop in for that coffee or tea, and it had sort of caused a... shift in her focus. Instead of thinking of the restaurant one hundred percent of the time, it had shifted more to eighty percent. It took her a bit longer to get ready in the morning, and then there was the whole thing where she was waiting for her to show but trying not to look like she was so she spent a lot of the time in the kitchen working on possible new things. Her progress on the close-to-finished and thankfully almost nonexistent stack of papers on her desk was interrupted when her hostess knocked on the door and stuck her head in to let her know that there was someone there to see her. Well, even without knowing who it was, Azah felt that first spark on nervousness. That was probably Sana, wasn't it? Who else would be looking specifically for her?
Thanking her employee, and letting her know that she would be right there, Azah stood from her desk, stopping right before leaving the room to adjust her clothing and run a hand through her hair -- which was ridiculous because it was just coffee, not a date -- and went to meet Sana. She was going to be seeing her for the first time in... way too many years. Damn, if she wasn't nervous.
