April 4th; boring day for the most part! April 5th; Several newspapers begin writing up things about McGonagall's attack. Some are actually pinpointing the blame on students and other professor's. Parents become so outraged that the Ministry and Hogwarts both start receiving massive amounts of letters and howlers and threaten to not let their children return after Easter break. April 6th; A). St. Mungos staff announces that McGonagall is making a great recover and will be released in a few days. Aurors are continuing to comb the Forbidden Forest looking for the person there. They find dead animals and used matchsticks, but are still unable to find the person. B). BIRTHDAY! Louis Weasley! Wish him a good one. April 7th; A travelling, wizarding circus comes to Diagon Alley today! They are very small; made up of only 4-5 people but they sing, do "tricks", and stick their heads into lions mouths and all that jazz! Really, these people are just looking for ways to make money without having a "real job". They've been a circus, a group of singers, homeless, and so on. The circus makes them the most money, especially from muggles. While they're in Diagon Alley, they don't make much money so one of them get quite upset and threaten to just become a muggle since wizards were "so arrogant and rude". April 8th; A). Word gets around that anyone interested in running for Minister of Magic this Summer should submit their forms to the Ministry by the end of the week. People begin getting excited and "Vote for ---" signs start appearing. B). As the students prepare to leave for school again tomorrow, there is a massive safety check of Hogwarts. Wards are strengthened, curfews are made stricter, and Aurors continue to look for the man in the forest. Since they cannot find him, they sugar coat the story a little bit by saying, "they're on the right trail" but really, they've found nothing of interest yet. April 9th; A). Back to Hogwarts for those whose parents allow them to go back! B). Flitwick warmly greets everyone and welcomes them back. He also says Headmistress McGonagall will be arriving at Hogwarts tomorrow and they will be having a "Welcome Back McGonagall" lunch for her. April 10th; A). The Great Hall is decorated with "Welcome Home" signs, streamers, magical balloons that change shape ever so often, and confetti. McGonagall comes back and is pleasantly surprised by all of this and gets a little teary eyed. She appears to be doing much better, but seems a little weak and has to rely heavily on a crutch. B). Yearbook nominations start today (will put more info on up).
