Happy to be so warmly accepted, she flushed a bright pink at his words. She couldn't even pretend to hide the huge grin on her face, and nuzzled him warmly. Of course he missed her, she was certainly miss-able. Lily could never escape the suspicion that since she was so young, her feelings were spastic and preemptive to him, but she felt validated just then.
"See!" she exclaimed, throwing her hand up exasperatedly. She noticed a little too late that she was a little too loud and flinched slightly. "See. If they'll get you, imagine what they'll do to me." The fact was Lily really hated reading - apart from the books Molly sent - and sometimes she was so bored with them she wished they would eat her alive.
Lily peeked up at him through her hair until he moved it from her face. "Me have free time?" She scoffed at him. "You're the one who is always busy." She raised her eyebrows imploringly, as if this might somehow convince him. Her face eased into another smile, "But of course I want to do as much as possible once the snow is gone." She tilted her head curiously. "What did you have in mind?"
