The grin slowly faded at the tone of Leroy's voice, and puckered her brows in concern. This was the part where he would usually smile, come to the door, kiss her, make some wacky sort of comment, and then continue on with the night. But now, he was different, and Melody didn't like this different. Slowly she approached him, sitting adjacent to him but making sure there was a decent amount of space between them.
"I always come uninvited," she reminded him, keeping a low tone. She paused a minute, before continuing on. "What's wrong?" she asked while her gaze averted towards the leather gloves.
