March 7 - 13
March 7th;
A). Rita Skeeter announces today that she is publishing a new book; a biography on herself. She has special chapters dedicated to her "friendship" with Harry Potter, each of her three divorces, and 'threats' she recieved from Dumbledore while she was still alive.
B). BAD NEWS! The latest shipment of Pumpkins was tainted! All pumpkin products are being recalled and it is highly recommended NOT to eat anything with pumpkin in it. If so, you will find yourself violently ill and possibly orange. St. Mungos is quickly swarmed with those who've had pumpkin.
March 8th; boring day, aside from the Pumpkin crisis!
March 9th;
A). In the Muggle World, three young women are found dead from the Cruciatus Curse/Avada Kedavra behind a shopping mall. Muggle Police are terribly confused about the young girls' deaths. Aurors and Healers are trying to determine how these three teenage girls may have encountered the Knights, but have found nothing.
B). Birthday! Artemis Harper! Wish her a good one.
March 10th; Professors announce at supper that the Yearbook committee will need volunteers soon, since the yearbook will start being assembled next month. All students are asked to see their Head of House if they are interested and the information will be passed to Professor Sinistra, who will be in charge of the Yearbook this year.
March 11th;
A). Meteor shower tonight! Extra credit to students who stay up for it and write an eight-inch essay about what they thought of it and what causes a meteor shower.
B). The front of Weasley's Wizard Wheezes in Diagon Alley is found vandalized with the words: "The Weasels will pay for their crimes against Wizards." Auror's find a trace of some illegal substance left behind on one of the shutters, but will have not been able to trace it yet.
March 12th;
A). BREAKING NEWS! Kingsley Shacklebolt admits today that is, in fact, retiring from being Minister in July. The press goes wild with speculation blaming the pressure, the failures, threats, and so on. Kingsley refuses to give any other interviews other than the one announcing his leave. The press begins bothering the Shacklebolt family at their home and eventually Ministry officials have to come remove the paparazzi off the premises.
B). While the Shacklebolt's are being bothered for more information, some are wondering who the next Minister will be. A group of people who desperately want Harry Potter to become the next Minister begin putting up "Potter for Pres"-esque signs around Wizarding locations.
March 13th;
A). Final day for 7th years Career Day slips. Any 7th year who did not turn one in will not be going away that day and will be staying at Hogwarts.
B). Harry Potter says firmly that he is NOT planning on running for Minister and that he will be removing the Potter support signs.
