Piper took a deep breath and tried to steel herself for what she knew was coming. She did not want to play the bad guy, well at least she did not want to admit she wanted to play the bad guy. It was just something felt wrong to her.
"Bella... I don't... I don't know..." She whispered softly to her friend as her fingers slid across the vial in her pocket. "You really should try to deal with this without magic."
It was no secret to her that her friend had not been sleeping. Of course she had asked but the girl had yielded with none of her secrets. Honestly, she thought the girl was just being overly dramatic. Or seeking attention as she had in years before. She did not mean to be judgemental, but she was aware of Isabella's past reputation.
"You say now you won't ask again, but you will." Piper said confident that she would ask again. Once she got a taste for what it was like to sleep though the night again. "Don't promise things you cannot do, Bella."
As of right now, she was determined not to yield and give the girl the potion. Even if it could heal the girl's wounds for a night. It was a mean thing of her to do, but she could not enable what she persumed was coming.
