"Always grey," Freddie shook his head and smiled. "I don't know why you prefer it. Tastes weak to me." He carried on abusing her tea preferences as they went into the living room. They sat together pleasantly for some time, talking about her dad, and the shop, and all that had happened at Hogwarts this year. Freddie enquired after his younger cousins, and his sister, and their antics. "Wish I was still there to keep an eye on them, if I'm honest!" he muttered, draining the last of his tea and hopping to his feet. "You done?" he asked happily, merry from their easy conversation and how comfortable they were together. A strange hope was flaring in his chest-- he had hardly thought about their terrible breakup all evening. "I'll walk you up."
