"Of course. I broke up with him. Gods gift to women and I broke up with him." She had to laugh softly because it was funny to her now. Usually a supercilious annoyed her but this time it was mildly amusing. "I was supposed to just be happy that we were together... Well, in public any how." It had all been an act to him. "I was naive though. I should have known something was up when he wouldn't kiss me or even hold my hand." She shrugged. Sometimes you had to learn things the hard way.
"They are!" She said in reference to the shoe question. "I hate shoes so I like a little shoe that's light but versatile. You know, for those summer days where you can't get away with sandals but don't want to but something like a boot or sneakers on." They were a perfect shoe for her life style.
"Hmm... That's good then. Long as you like being born on a holiday." It made her think back to all her own birthdays. "I used to get mad I had to wait to have my birthday party till another day because people were always busy." It was just something she had gotten used to. "I don't mind now that I am older."
"Yuck." She made a face as her friend described her ex. "That has to be awful." Bella had to imagine it made things very uncomfortable when two people had different comfort levels and the guy wasn't willing to respect them. "I am glad there's a dance on Valentine's Day this year. It makes it a lot easier because neither Albus or I have to come up with something. We can just go to the dance together. I love dancing with him any how." So there was no way she would pass up an opportunity to dance with him.
